HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR
WAX APPOINTMENT
01.
New clients coming from shaving: hair must be the length of a grain of rice. We recommend pre-booking every 3 weeks for the first 3 waxes. Existing clients: come back for a wax every 4-6 weeks.
02.
Exfoliate 2-3 times a week. This will prevent/treat ingrown hairs. Which results in a cleaner wax.
03.
Hydrate & moisturize skin daily. Preferably after shower. Use our Nu’ SKYN Oil to seal in hydration. Aftercare goodies will be provided to 1st time guest. Including a sample of our Nu’ SKYN Oil. Full size product is currently available for purchase on our website & in-person.
04.
We prefer you not shave in between waxes. This will cause ingrown &
thicker hairs.
05.
Dress Comfortably, preferably no tight clothing and arrive a little early.

APPOINTMENTS
Prior to booking waxing services, wait at least 2-3 weeks for hair to grow in after shaving or until hair is the length of a grain of rice. For brow enhancement services, clients must arrive with clean, makeup free brows.
PAYMENT
We accept cash, credit & debit cards, Apple Pay & Android Pay.
LATE ARRIVALS
A late arrival of 15-minute or more will result in a cancellation. Your appointment will have to be rescheduled unless you’ve contacted us prior.
CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS
For cancellations/reschedules, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice. After two or more late cancellations and no-shows clients will no longer be eligible to pre-book appointments. Instead, future services will be offered on a walk-in basis only, subject to availability.
Janeese began her career in the beauty industry after graduating from beauty school in 2021. Became a senior Wax Specialist at a waxing franchise, where she honed her skills over three years. Driven by a passion for Esthetics, educating and helping clients feel more beautiful in their own skin, she launched Nu’ SKYN Aesthetics to provide personalized, quality beauty services.
Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, self-care (of course!) and drawing inspiration from the beauty in everyday life.
